Patients’ Responsibilities

Provide as much information as you can to your healthcare providers about your present health, past illnesses, any allergies and any other relevant details.

Inform your medical practitioner about all the medications that you take including alternative medications (pills, medicinal herbs, tea, )

Follow the prescribed and agreed treatment plan and comply with the instructions given.

Show consideration for the rights of other patients and healthcare providers, by following the hospital rules concerning patient conduct.

Keep any appointments that you make or notify the hospital or clinic as early as possible if you are unable to do so.

Should not ask healthcare providers to provide untrue information, to issue false receipts, certificates or medical reports.

Should not waste medical resources unnecessarily.

Be responsible to settle the required fees and charges for the hospital services provided to you.

Be responsible for the personal belongings that you bring to the hospital.
